What is IRS Form 990-EZ?
Form 990-EZ serves as the short form return of organizations exempt from income tax (small tax-exempt organizations, nonexempt charitable trusts, and section 527 political organizations). These nonprofit tax filing organizations must have gross receipts less than $200,000 and total assets less than $500,000.
When is the deadline to file my Form 990-EZ?
Form 990-EZ must be filed by the 15th day of the 5th month following the close of the organization’s tax year. If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the organizations must file form 990-EZ by the next business day.
